- STUDENTS CAN GET STARTED AT ANY STAGE THROUGH OUT TERM -

 

Get ready to have some fun and get fit learning the most popular Latin dance styles – Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba and Samba.


Classes focus on learning two dances a week on a rotation and you can begin at any stage.

No experience or partner is needed to get started. The focus of these classes is learning new steps

and moves in a fun and social environment incorporating some lead and follow and a light focus on technique.

 

 


 

 

CLASS TIMES:

BEGINNER                 Tuesday 7.00pm – 8.00pm

INTERMEDIATE          Tuesday 8.00pm - 9.00pm

ADVANCED               Wednesday 7.30pm - 8.30pm

 

 

WHAT TO WEAR: comfy clothes/shoes (latin, chorus or jazz shoes recommended if you have them)

WHAT TO BRING: water bottle

SALSA

With its’ sexy moves, fast turns and energetic flavor this dance exudes a sensual Cuban feel.

CHA CHA

Fun, energetic, sexy and flirtatious this Latin dance is a derivative of the Mambo and is particularly known for its syncopated cha-cha-cha rhythm.

RUMBA

Romantic and sensual this dance is commonly known as the dance of love.

Musically this dance possesses a tension and release effect with a combination of slow and quick counts.

SAMBA

Think Carnival in Rio de Janeiro ! This cheeky Brazilian dance will have you bouncing around the floor in no time.
