FREE WEDDING DANCE LESSON

Fusion Dance Company holds a FREE wedding group class once a month to give couples the chance

to have a go and get started with their wedding dance.

The class is designed for absolute beginners and looks at learning the dance 'Rumba'.

Majority of wedding dance music chosen is best suited to dance a Rumba.

Rumba is both an achievable dance to learn for beginners as well as being extremely wedding appropriate with simple steps and turns.

Bookings are required for this FREE class as numbers are limited each month.

4 WEEK GROUP COURSE

Bride and Groom group lessons are an affordable alternative to private lessons and are designed to teach wedding couples

a simple Rumba routine (in a set order) with achievable steps, simple turns and a dip to finish. 

A fun class that is perfect for beginners and couples who don’t want to rock from side to side or stand there looking silly!

Note - 95% of music chosen for a wedding dance is best suited to dance a Rumba dance

Courses commence the week after each FREE class.

HOW ARE THE CLASSES STRUCTURED?

Over the four week course we will teach you a handful of simple but impressive Rumba steps in a set order that grows from week to week incorporating a dip to finish.  At the beginning of each lesson we will revise the content from the previous lesson and allow all couples the chance throughout the classes to use their chosen music.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Bride and Groom Private lessons are generally available Monday – Wednesday 4pm – 10pm subject to availability and times.

Most couples will average 6 lessons to learn their dance however some choose to do more or less depending on what they are interested in learning and if they have previous dance experience.

The music you choose to use for your dance will affect the dance you are able to learn to fit with that particular piece of music. In saying that, most wedding dance music chosen is generally best suited to dance Rumba.

On private lessons you can be very specific with what you choose to learn – eg – different dance styles (tango, cha cha, salsa, swing/jive, foxtrot...) as well as lifts etc.  You are really only limited by your imagination... and of course music.

COSTS

Costs of Private Lessons are $70 per hour with a 10% discount on pre-paid packages of 6 or more.
